This upcoming session will run from February 5 through June 3, and will meet on Mondays from 4:00 - 5:15PM in the Hawai'i Science and Technology Museum Exhibit Hall.

Applications are being accepted for children born August 1, 2019 through July 31, 2021 for program participation July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025. Preschool Open Doors (POD) provides monthly preschool tuition subsidies to qualified families.
Parents may choose any DHS licensed preschool.

Deadline is March 28, 2024

The Department of Education is offering a virtual Spring Math Camp for students in
grades 1, 2, and 3 at no cost to families. Here is a flier with information and a registration
link if you are interested. The deadline to register is 3:00 p.m., February 2, 2024,
unless filled sooner.

Kids Heart Challenge is coming soon! Students will learn how to have happy and healthy hearts and brains, while raising lifesaving donations to help others with special hearts. Plus, your family can learn the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR in Finn’s Mission! Register TODAY at https://www2.heart.org/kaumana or by downloading the FREE AHA Schools App for Apple or Android.

Students who register early will be recognized at our assembly on February 1st!

Did you know that your participation in Kids Heart Challenge helps our local community in many ways? Each week we will highlight the impact you’re able to help make in our local communities!

The American Heart Association collaborates with 11 Federally Qualified Health Centers serving over 140,000 patients across the state through their Adopt-A-Clinic Initiative! The AHA is working with the Hawaii Foodbank to improve the nutritional quality of food donated across the state and provide nutrition guidelines and policy templates for local communities!
